PAVLOS PAVLIDIS - OSTEOPATH

Mr. Pavlidis has graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine with First Class Honours (Master of Osteopathic Medicine, University of Surrey). During his time as a student he demonstrated great passion and outstanding academic achievement, and for that he was awarded the Rising Star Award, as the top graduate of the 2016/17 class, from the Institute of Osteopathy.

 

He is a former member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Institute of Osteopathy in the UK, and a current member of the Panhellenic Osteopathic Association and the European Federation of Osteopaths (Osteopathy Europe). Additionally, he is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS), where he completed his training in Western medical acupuncture in London.

MSC TRAUMA & ORTHOPAEDICS

He has clinical experience in musculoskeletal medicine through working in clinics in London and has also been involved in research and the writing of scientific content for the medical education platform “Osmosis”.

Mr Pavlidis also completed postgraduate studies and holds the degree MSc in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the University of Salford, with distinction.
During his studies, he specialized in the management of musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on conservative treatment for low back pain and knee osteoarthritis.
He also completed his clinical placement at the Orthopaedic Clinic of Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Mr Pavlidis in an accredited lecturer of the University of Derby, in partnership with Mediterranean College. He has extensive teaching experience teaching at the Mediterranean College School of Health & Sport Sciences, specialising in clinical anatomy.
Due to his academic and teaching excellence, he was honored with the Academic Staff Recognition & Excellence Award by the Mediterranean College, School of Health & Sports Sciences.

PHYSIOACADEMY

He has attended numerous seminars in Europe and Greece on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, with a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of spinal pathologies.
He has a particular interest in non-pharmacological treatments for knee osteoarthritis as well as the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and low back pain. He is passionate about musculoskeletal health and conservative approaches to pain management.

 

Since 2022, he has been an active teaching member of the multidisciplinary Physio Academy team, which organizes professional development seminars for clinicians and healthcare professionals in the field of musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.
